Gannon's is located on the outskirts of the Lynn Woods Reservation, a 2,200-acre municipal park founded in 1881. It features over 30 miles of scenic trails for hiking, running, and horseback riding, as well as various recreational activities like cross-country skiing and nature walks. The reservation is known for its natural beauty, including Dungeon Rock, a well-loved underground tunnel with pirate lore, and the Rose Garden and Houghton Horticultural Garden for more formal settings. The Gannon Municipal Golf Course, situated on the outskirts of the reservation, offers an 18-hole championship design and is operated by the city of Lynn.
